Happy friday & Minni Recap

I was just scrolling through the blog and correct me if I am wrong but I haven’t shared any photos from my trip to Minneapolis!! I can not believe this to be honest because we had a fantastic tine and by the way it was a freezing (weather was -5). Spring is fast approaching and I think this is my last chance to show pictures of us frolicking in the snow.

I am so excited for the weekend on another note. I have a few shots to share of Mexico still! I guess tho can wait till next week. Enjoy your days off!

Bits of My Weekend

What a magical weekend! I met my nephew for the very first time and it was amazing! He is more adorable than any picture can capture. I will miss him while we are apart. Lucky me – he will be coming for a visit next month so my wait will not be too difficult. During my time in Minneapolis, my sister and I discovered a store called Manu Factory which creates adorable toys and housewares for the design-y adult type.  We also walked the local farmers market and ate at Bar La Grassa (post on the restaurant coming soon!) which was named in Bon Appetit as one of the new top 10 restaurants in the nation. I am sad to go but after the last few weeks of traveling and work..I am looking forward to week at a home.

Ollie Bound

I arrived in Minneapolis late last night and am finally meeting my nephew, Ollie, for the first time! What an amazing baby. I can’t believe he is already 5 weeks old.

BlackBlue

I can’t believe I have not shared this store with you sooner! If you recall I discovered an amazing clothing store on my trip to Minneapolis – BlackBlue. Sorry ladies, the store focuses mainly on Menswear but they do carry shoes and bags for women.  The small shop located St. Paul features an amazing selection of shirts from Pendelton, Hyden Yoo, jeans from APC, Red Wing Boots and often features local artists. On my visit to Black Blue I had the chance to speak with the owner and he is extremely welcoming. I believe we lingered twice as long as planned chatting with him and taking a break from Minni’s humid weather.

Bits of my Weekend

I am having such a great time in Minneapolis and am finding it very hard to leave this afternoon. We have accomplished a lot in such a little amount of time. I have successfully helped my sister move into her new home, eaten at the best restaurants in Minneapolis, seen some amazing stores, saw the Mississippi for the first time and walked/drove around a few of their many lakes!

Cinnamon Rolls from Isle Bun and Coffee. This is the most amazing bun in the whole world. It is soft, sweet and perfect.
