Spring: Brightest Bright

Spring fashion is in full effect and it is perfectly filled with bright hues and happy prints. I have succumbed to the trend and started purchasing the perfect flats to brighten up all my outfits. And I must say, I am keen on the long skirts as well. If you feel that you are not ready to jump into this new trend, start with some accessories like a patterned scarf, accented shoes or painted nails.

Spring

Tuesday generally comes and goes – nothing too exciting happens but today I have a sneaking suspicion that today is more than the average Tuesday and good things will happen. I love when I have this feeling. The weather is perfectly breezy, the sun is out and spring is here.

I wonder what today will bring?! Do you have anything special on your agenda?

Spring is here and I adore it. The weather is magical, the flowers are beautiful and I feel extremely happy. I am pleased it is Friday; I intend to do a bit of work but mostly play and catch up with family.

I love this cover from Vogue Italia February 2011. Not to mention Candice Swanepoel looks just stunning. The Victoria Secret model was photographed by Steven Meisel wearing an orange Blumarine Spring 2011 leather jacket. She does fit the cover theme – bright and bold.

Here are a few more photos from the magazine:

San Francisco’s weather has been so delightful these past few weeks I almost forget it is the middle of winter! I can not believe that he was near freezing here and constant rain just a few weeks ago. I wish that this weather would last just a little longer. I feel like I am finally getting some nice color! I plan to stay outside as long as possible this weekend wearing the most un-wintery clothes possible. I will finally try to wear some of my favorite spring looks!

As you know prints are a big part of Summer fashion and am happy to depart from my uniform of a white tee and jeans and add something of color to my life! I have rounded up a few of my current musts.

Tie Dye!

From left to right-ish – Lela Rose dress, Leggings from shopintuition.com, Top Shop Tee, Blue & Cream dress, Scarf from Aeropostale,  Sperry Top Siders, Arden B dress, Delias Swim

Digital Prints

From left to right-ish- Alexander Mcqueen, La Garconne shoes, Mara Hoffman swim, Forever 21 top, Erdem dress. Christopher Kane

I adore these hand dyed leggings by Shabd based off of Hubble telescope images of the births and deaths of stars.

Burberry has just released their April Showers Collection!

…and it is beautiful…

The collection includes trench-coats, polo-shirts and dresses, padded jackets, and accessories.

The focus of the line is iconic Burberry house with a modern edge with trims in bright bold colors.

All of this goodness can be found at Burberry.com or Burberry stores!

San Francisco’s weather was amazing (yes, 70 degrees) this weekend. I tried to spend as much time outside as possible.

I went for a hike at Fort Miley with friends, listened to live music, zip lined (well maybe not me) and even got a chance to squeeze in a drink at Zeitgeist.  What a wonderful sunny weekend!

I am so excited to announce the Widspread has been featured in The IFB weekly roundup! Be sure to check out the other bloggers below!
