This is one of those weddings that will make you grin ear to ear. Between the bright shades of purple, the romantic details, the delicious cupcakes…they found their way into my heart! It is fun & flirty, has depth and their love definitely shines through these photos.

Friends, I am pleased to introduce to you to Rick and Yonit who have recently tied the knot in Calistoga.

A note from the lovely couple:

We were married over a long weekend at the end of July in Calistoga, Ca. I had dreamed about a vineyard wedding and Hans Fahden Vineyard exceeded all our expectations. Our vows were exchanged under a chuppa by Rabbi Ira Book on a lake replicated after Monet’s Water Lillies painting. The bride wore Jesscia McLintock in what caught her eye as “vineyard chic”. Due to the long-distance between them, her in NYC and him in Nashville, TN , he had sent her an orchid that had violet and lavender petals. As the plant blossomed so did their relationship. This inspired the shades of purple in their wedding decor. surrounded by 100 of our closest friends and family we saw only those that would join us through this long journey we were embarking upon. We felt truly loved. To pull in our location and colors, we made the numbers for the tables using wine corks and to enhance the romantic feel of wine cave we added tall candelabras. All Seasons catered our wedding, a well established restaurant and catering company. The food was exquisite using all local fresh ingredients. We liked that we could go to the restaurant in years to come and eat the same meal we had on our wedding day. The cupcakes were made by a ridiculously creative and accommodating baker Jennifer at DolceDolce bakery. Placed in the teahouse and on the patio overlooking the lake were framed facts about the evolution of our relationship as well as framed pictures of our childhoods. July 23rd was not only our wedding day, it was my husband’s birthday and also 2 years from the day we first met in Mexico. An old style phtotobooth sat on the patio to bring a bit of nostalgia to entertain the guests and add hilarious pictures into our guest book. We honeymooned at Playa Mujeres, Mexico to remind ourselves that what happened in Mexico didn’t stay in Mexico.
