The Wall Street Journal unveiled a new weekend lifestyle section last weekend called Off Duty and the lead story featured the heritage trend (my favorite trend of all) and re-emergence of LL Bean, Pendelton and other vintage such as Stetson, Woolrich, Levi’s and Britain’s J Barbour & Sons. These brands are also collaborating with high-end runway designers (see chart below) or venturing out on their own to re create the trend! None the less, the fashion scene is changing and high end designers are being given something to think about. Even though I do love the skinny suit and pointy shoes, I am excited to see a more low key trend come into the lime light – a little more rugged manly man will soon arrive.

And of course, I delighted to see what Off Duty will come up with next week.
